The MusiKita in the district of Ebersberg is based on the Bavarian education and upbringing plan and offers comprehensive early musical education for kindergarten children. The cooperation between the local music school and our facility promotes the participation of all children, strengthens early education in the area of elementary music practice (EMP) and ensures professional support beyond the kindergarten years. The music teacher and our pedagogical team form a tandem, whereby the EMP systematically combines movement, voice & speech, music and aesthetics & art.

The benefits for children are manifold: the permanent combination of music, language and movement supports neurobiological development. Implementation in everyday kindergarten life is particularly effective as it is closely oriented to the children’s daily lives. Specialized professional training for music school staff is crucial for success, as it allows for continuous in-depth study of the topics. Through the educational partnership, children are accompanied until the transition to elementary school, which enables the integration of musical elements into other areas of education. The MusiKita conveys overarching values such as respect, tolerance and self-confidence and strengthens the children’s personal development in various skills.
