About our children's home
Up to 150 children between the ages of two and a half and the end of primary school can be looked after together in the old school building. This makes the Altes Schulhaus the largest daycare center in the municipality of Markt Schwaben. The only local parents’ initiative has been providing childcare by parents for parents for more than 50 years.
Kindergarten
Our kindergarten can care for up to 75 children from the age of two and a half until they start school. The children can move freely around the house. Various themed and multifunctional rooms are available to the children for their individual development and to get to know their own needs. after school day care
The after-school care center in the old schoolhouse is located in the immediate vicinity of the elementary school. Up to 75 children can currently learn and play together in the after-school care center. From the first to the fourth grade, the children receive age-appropriate care with a wide range of opportunities for participation that allow them to have a say in their everyday lives.
