Welcome to the Kinderhaus Kindergarten & Hort im Alten Schulhaus.

Since 1972, the association Vorschule Markt Schwaben e.V.founded as a parents’ initiative, as an independent Carrier of the kindergarten and after-school care center in the old school building has significantly improved childcare in Markt Schwaben. Our facility, centrally located in the town and in close proximity to the schools, is characterized in particular by its focus on participation and co-determination.

As a parents’ initiative, we offer childcare by parents – for parents. This means that many former, but also active parents are represented in the voluntary sponsorship. This unique form of cooperation has characterized the atmosphere of our children’s home for decades. Together we create a place where children can feel safe, learn and grow.

Our pedagogy is based on the individual needs of each child. We attach great importance to co-determination and participation, because we believe that children can develop their personality and strengthen their independence through active participation in decision-making. Needs-oriented pedagogy is at the heart of our daily work in order to create a caring and nurturing environment.
