There is a stork’s nest on the roof of the old school building. After a disturbance in 2014 during extensive renovations to the building, a young stork was finally welcomed back to the eyrie in 2022. After years of waiting, a steadfast pair of storks successfully defended the eyrie against other storks. A young bird in the eyrie not only brings joy to the kindergarten children, but also to experts from the LBV, who operate the webcam on our roof.

Our children not only have the opportunity to watch the Horst in the web stream, but also via a monitor in the kindergarten area.
