Arrive
When the children arrive at our house, they are welcomed at reception. As a parent, you can submit or receive relevant information here. At reception you will also find our information board, where you will always find up-to-date and relevant information.
The child then goes to the wardrobe, where he or she can change independently. You accompany the child to one of the open themed rooms and say goodbye to them there. Of course, your child can still wave to you from the window. All kindergarten children must have arrived by 08:30. We attach great importance to punctuality, because starting the day together is essential for your child, but also for the community.
Morning circle
At the end of drop-off time, the children have the opportunity to take part in a morning circle in each of the themed rooms. The morning circle in kindergarten is a ritualized community activity in which the children gather in a circle. It serves to strengthen the community, promote communication and discuss the daily routine. Through fixed rituals, games and activities, the morning circle creates a positive and structured atmosphere that gives the children a sense of security. This not only promotes social and emotional skills, but also develops language and fine motor skills. The morning circle eases the transition from home to kindergarten and prepares the children for the day ahead.
Free play and activities
After the morning circle, the children have free play time or the opportunity to take advantage of specific activities. Free play in kindergarten is an important educational method in which children can play independently and creatively. It promotes their independence, social skills and creativity. Children can develop their interests through an individual selection of play options. At the same time, there are structured offers in which specific educational goals are communicated. These offers enable targeted support, whether in cognitive, motor or social areas. The combination of free play and activities creates a balanced learning environment in which children can develop their skills in a playful and age-appropriate way.
Children's restaurant
In the morning, the children can have their snack or play table games in the children’s restaurant.
From 11:30 – 13:00 the children can have lunch in the children’s restaurant. It offers the children a unique experience by creating a common place for meals. Here the children learn basic table manners, how to use cutlery and how to share meals. Eating together promotes social interaction, a sense of community and an understanding of healthy eating. At the same time, the children’s restaurant enables the children to take responsibility for their eating habits and strengthen their independence. This practical experience contributes to the holistic development of the children by developing social, emotional and practical life skills.
Rest period
After lunch there is a rest period for all children. Rest time in the kindergarten is an important part of the daily routine in which the children have the opportunity to relax. They can rest, regenerate and recharge their batteries in a quiet and relaxed environment. During this time, calming activities such as reading aloud or soft music are offered. But the children also enjoy listening to radio plays and drawing. The rest phase not only promotes physical well-being, but also the emotional stability of the children. They learn to recognize their need for relaxation and develop self-regulation skills. This deliberate break helps to support children’s holistic development and promote a positive attitude towards resting. Children who are very tired naturally also have the opportunity to sleep.
Free play time & offers
After rest time in the kindergarten, the children have a wide range of activities to choose from. Whether during free play or specific activities. The themed rooms offer a variety of opportunities to let off steam creatively. Flying paper airplanes in the play area or paying a visit to the after-school children. The flexibility in the afternoon allows the children a varied and individualized time after the rest period. Of course, the children have the opportunity to play in the garden both in the morning and in the afternoon. We also like to explore the surrounding playgrounds together.
Farewell
When the children are picked up by their parents, they are handed over to their parents or authorized persons at a central reception desk. Here the children are handed over safely and in an orderly fashion, and the teachers can provide the parents with important information about the course of the day. This clear structure ensures an orderly process and facilitates communication between parents and teachers. The reception serves as a central meeting point and creates an organized handover situation for a smooth end to the day. This also ensures that each child can say goodbye personally.
